Ken Hackman holds a B.S. in secondary science. He has been a teacher for 18 years and has taught biology, honors biology, AP biology, anatomy and physiology, zoology, and zoological field studies. He currently serves as the coordinator of the Madison (Mississippi) Central Zoological Field Studies Program, which teams students in the program with state and federal biologists in research programs around the state. Allen and his wife, Mimi, own Martinson’s Garden Works and Urban Home in Ridgeland.
